About Us

Thank you for your interest in referring a child to our service. We understand how important it is to find the right environment for young people facing difficult circumstances, and so we offer a safe, nurturing space where they can relax and thrive. 

We established My Safe Haven because supporting young people on their journey through the care system is incredibly important to us. We have extensive experience in this area and aim to help young individuals create lasting memories before they transition to their long-term placements. 

Our on-site social worker has over 20 years of experience working with children from challenging backgrounds and possesses a wealth of knowledge about the difficulties they face.

Our entire team takes great pride in the work we do, along with the fantastic outdoor and high-activity opportunities that we provide for the young people who spend time with us. 

At My Safe Haven, we offer a bespoke indoor and outdoor high activity-based Crisis Intervention Service for young people aged 8-18 years with short term support. Our semi-independent provisions can accommodate young individuals on a 7, 14 or 28 day placement, with a 1:1 or 2:1 support ratio (in some cases a 3:1 ratio) 24 hours a day.

As part of our high-quality respite service, we collaborate closely with Local Authorities to ensure we can provide immediate, same day, and short-term solutions for the most challenging and vulnerable young people, before moving on to long-term placements.

Our luxury service provides young people with a much needed break or mini-holiday from their current situation, with the primary focus being to create a safe, secure and calm environment in which young people remain engaged whilst simultaneously learning new, key life skills. 

We are dedicated to supporting young people in developing their social, communicative, emotional and behavioural skills within a safe environment to promote positive outcomes moving forward.
